The SouthWest Health Alliance (SWHA) is an independent, non-profit alliance of public and private sector employers located in the Southwest region of the U.S. who share a commitment to promote quality, cost-effective health care for its members.

Incorporated in July 2000, the overall mission of SWHA is to measure and improve the health status of the southwestern community through formal studies and health intervention programs designed to:
- improve quality of health care services;
- manage health care utilization and costs;
- increase consumer and user education;
- implement proactive intervention programs for the high-risk/cost population.
